  • From June 1, 2023, a NIWC Pacific badge is no longer required to access Naval Base Point Loma gates. However, a NIWC Pacific badge is still required for all visitors accessing ANY NIWC Pacific building, space, or meeting.
  • Visitors issued Red Escort Badges cannot be granted access to classified information or spaces.

This requires the completion of the SECNAV 5512/1 form. Download the pdf here to complete the form.

The Visitor Center will submit the SECNAV 5512/1 and spreadsheet to the Naval Base Point Loma Pass and ID Office for vetting. The Pass and ID Office requires 15-20 business days to process vetting forms. Visitors will be vetted for a one-day DBIDS temporary pass.
