Pathway #2: New Professional Program

The New Professionals (NP) program is a two-year career development opportunity designed to bridge the gap between formal academic training and professional work. Welcomed and mentored in a diverse environment, you will have opportunities to network and develop your technical and professional skills. The NP Program employs scientists and engineers who hold B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in a variety of fields, including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and other technical disciplines.​​

Submit your resume, transcripts for all college coursework completed (unofficial are sufficient) and two references.

Pathway #3: Internships, Externships and Student STEM Programs for all ages!

The Department of the Navy recognizes the importance of building a strong and healthy science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) workforce through internships, externships and various STEM programs. Numerous programs exist for exceptional high school students and college (undergrad and graduate) students with an interest in a future career in the STEM fields. The goal is to build skills and STEM confidence through hands-on learning activities that incorporate naval-relevant content.
